Description

It is a fast paced course covering the basics of First Aid in a one day course, with practical assessments and a short, multi-choice question paper at the end of the day. The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require you to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and trained people, so your employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work.

This is a six hour course but can, with prior agreement, be split into two x three hour sessions, meaning less down time for a business on a particular day. Additionally, these can take place during evenings and do not even have to be consecutive days. They can be a week apart. Flexibility is a must in today’s business world of deadlines and customer service.

The content of this course teaches basic life saving skills and workplace health and safety regulations including regulations covering the contents of a First Aid box and the reporting of injuries. With many businesses in Guildford having taken advantage of the EFAW, it is a popular course amongst those who are unable to take out three days from work to take part in the longer three day course.
