Description

This course will update you with the latest teachings in the time that has elapsed since your last course and refresh your skills. The re-qualification takes place over two days (instead of the three days for the initial qualification) as long as this is done before the certificate expires.

There are many businesses in Crawley that have had on-site training and benefitted from the reduction in downtime within their companies. Medium sized businesses have been able to train up to 12 individuals at any one time and lose only 6 hours of time from each day, allowing normal business to continue around this time. With so many businesses making use of our services, isn’t it about time you did too?

What is included in the First Aid at Work Requalification?

You will learn about all of the same aspects of First Aid that are included in the First Aid at Work course, including spinal injuries, head injuries, bone, muscle and joint injuries and sprains and strains. You will be taught about the role of first aiders and the correct contents of first aid kits, as well as wound management, and how to take care of situations involving primary surveys and unconscious casualties. We will refresh your knowledge of how to treat bleeds, burns, choking, allergies, asthma, diabetes and poisons. On top of all of this, we will cover CPR, shock, seizures, chest pain, strokes and eye injuries. We go over everything that you have already learnt about First Aid and make you aware of any updates to protocol, keeping your certificate current.
